April Song Trio

The trio features April Higuera’s original songs and select cover songs performed in the folk rock genre with three-part harmonies by April Higuera, Bev Riley, and Sheldon Felich.

Individually, April & Sheldon & Bev each have decades of professional performance experience. Together, their impeccably blended harmonies and fine musicianship makes them a premier original folk rock music trio in the Reno/Tahoe area.

April is an original music artist from NYC, having performed on major stages in New York City and on prime time national television, then songwriting and performing in Nashville for a decade, and currently residing and performing in the Reno regional area. April has been voted on the short list of Reno’s best musicians and singer/songwriters. Her radio-worthy original music currently plays in multiple television programs/shows as well as international retail markets.

Sheldon is a Truckee CA native and has performed on main stages in and around the Reno/Tahoe/Truckee area for decades, including as lead in a nationally-known Dan Fogelberg tribute band.

Bev has roots in gospel music both vocally and on keyboards, has performed in the band Phoenix out of Southern California in the early 1980’s, and then as a lead member of the very popular Reno-based band Apothic from 2015 to 2020.

APRIL SONG TRIO is available for original (and cover) music folk festivals, local venues, corporate events, and private events.
